Solution
- Renewal Quote and Renewal Opportunity have to be created.
- In the Renewal Quote on Edit lines a new product is added or the functionality is changed as per the requirement.
- Then the renewal quote is approved and its stage is changed as per the requirement and saved, wherein a contract gets created on the Renewal Opportunity.
- Wherein the Amendment quote is created on the Renewal Opportunity once the Amend button is clicked on Contract.
How to Create a Quote and analyze the Total Amount using of Quote of Salesforce?
Whether the Total Amount and Net Amount is added correctly by providing necessary Metrics, Ingest, Billing period, Payment terms, start date, and Deployment values. Under Opportunity and checking the quotes of salesforces are created.

- Created a quote under Opportunity of type Draft.
- Added the values provided to the Metrics, Frequent Ingest, and Continuous Ingest values.
- The sum of the Net amount and the total amount was analyzed by selecting the Billing period, deployment,
- Payment terms and by giving a specified Start date.
Conclusion
Using this way we can create a quote and calculate the Total Amount.

Solution for approval in Salesforce:-
- Created a quote under Opportunity of type Draft
- Added the values provided to the Metrics, Frequent Ingest and Continuous Ingest values wherein the sum of Net amount and Total amount is analyzed by selecting the Billing period, deployment, Payment terms and by giving specified Start date.
- Approved the quote by clicking on approve button wherein the approvals will be sent to the set of users based approval rules which are validated based on the discount provided.
- Those users have to approve the quote if these users are not available, then the users with a specific profile will approve it wherein that user who approves the quote, and should provide the reason for approving it.
Conclusion
It can approve the quote by using these quotes.

- The quote is to be created and once it’s approved the stage has to be changed as per the requirement.
- After this an Order and Contract gets created on this Opportunity and then when the “Renewal Forecast” checkbox field is enabled on this Contract the Renewal Opportunity gets created.
- After enabling the “Renewal Quoted” checkbox the Renewal Quote gets created and checks whether the Original quote value and Renewed quote value are the same.
